Groovy Gecko provided webcasting services for the IAB Engage event in London on 11th November. The high profile event, run by the Internet Advertising Bureau, aims to promote and develop the online medium. The presentations, all of which were made available on the Internet by Groovy Gecko, were given by a range of speakers, including TV personality, Stephen Fry, Matt Brittin, MD of Google UK, and Shaun Gregory, MD of O2 Media.
Groovy Gecko’s Presentation platfrom, the Live presentation System (LPS) is a framework for delivering live and on-demand video with supporting slides, QnA, polling and other interactive feature. Interactivity and rich media are the key to viewer engagement.
This year’s streams also had a Question and Answer functionality, allowing the viewer to become a part of the discussion, even if not at the live venue.
Nina Nyman, Events Manager at the IAB, said: “We were impressed by Groovy Gecko’s Live Presentation System for the event last year. By adding the Q&A functionality this year, we are able to include and engage viewers who cannot make the oversubscribed event.”
