Sunday 16th May was a busy day in the city of Manchester, starting in the morning with the BUPA Great Manchester run. The event was streamed live by Groovy Gecko and could be watched from the BUPA Great Run website at: http://www.greatrun.org/Tv/Default.aspx Later on, we saw the start of the Powerade Great City Games, with the world’s best athletes taking to the streets of Manchester. As the event kicked, Film Nova was on site to video the action. The satellite feed was then downlinked and transcoded by SatStream, ready for Groovy Gecko to stream it live to the Internet. |
