Groovy Gecko today announced, that it will be providing a live audio webcast of the PCG Freelance Lecture on November 23rd. Taking place at London’s prestigious Stationers’ Hall, this unique lecture, hosted by one of the UK’s most talented broadcasters, Sue Lawley, will provide a focal point for National Freelancers Day 2010. The theme for the lecture is “Freeing Up Potential,” which will be delivered by Dr James Belini, leading futurologist, broadcaster, and freelancer. Dr James Bellini is a respected futurologist focusing on socio-economic trends up to 2025. The lecture will be followed by comments from an expert panel, including Baroness Liddell of Coatdyke and Damian Reece, Head of Business for Telegraph Media Group, John Brazier, Managing Director, PCG, and Emma Jones, Founder and Editor of Enterprise Nation. For all those freelancers who cannot find the time to attend the event in person, Groovy Gecko will be providing a live audio webcast of the entire lecture and the subsequent discussion. Craig Moehl, CEO, Groovy Gecko, commented: “We are delighted to be involved with this project. PCG has lined up a number of leading figures to speak at the lecture and this audio webcast means that people unable to make it to the event itself can still capture some of the interesting insight being discussed throughout the day.” “We are very keen to reach as wide an audience with this event as possible however not everyone, especially a freelancer working for themselves, is able to take the day out to attend. Providing a webcast will enable people who cannot make it to get some benefit from the day as well,” commented Robert Rundle, Head of IT Strategy, PCG. “In the run up to this event, we have been impressed with their high regard to quality, which is an important aspect for this audio webcast.” You can register to listen live via the National Freelancers Day website - http://www.nationalfreelancersday.org.uk/cms/freelance-lecture.
