| MSN unveils streaming video update to Live Search |

MSN has announced a series of updates to its Live Search service, offering mobile phone users access to a range of new streaming content. Users will now just have to type in search queries in order to obtain a range of video clips on their mobile phones. MSN City Guides also has a number of new features including a service that allows users to share activities with others through the website. The other latest addition to MSN Live Search is MLB Dashboard, which gives users the opportunity to search for the latest statistics such as sports scores or news. After typing in a search query, users will be presented with a dashboard on which they can obtain the latest information about their favourite sports teams. MSN also announced a number of other features as part of the improved site, including directions, business listings and optimised web search. New figures released by Hitwise on BizReport.com, show that MSN Search accounted for 5.68 per cent of all US-based web searches in April this year.  |
