| Trailer for Alice in Wonderland hits blogosphere |

The trailer of Tim Burton's anticipated film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's children's book, Alice in Wonderland, has been released on the internet. Although stills from the film have already been circulating through the blogosphere, the high-definition streaming video trailer, which is the first piece of footage to be shown, is now available for fans to preview on YouTube and various other websites. The Disney film, which has been given a dark makeover typical of Burton's style, stars Johnny Depp as the mad hatter and newcomer Mia Wasikowska in the title role as Alice. Little Britain actor Matt Lucas also stars in the film, along with Helen Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway. The video trailer gives fans an idea of what to expect in the film, which contains a mixture of computer generated effects and live action. Alice in Wonderland is scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 5th 2010.  |
