The creators of streaming video application VidZone have said that the app has become the most popular of its kind. Ben Creasey, head of production at VidZone, said VidZone is "officially the biggest dedicated music video streaming application in the world", after having notched up more than two million downloads since its launch last year. VidZone has also been streamed by internet users over 200 million times, its creators revealed. On the application's website, the team posted: "Because of you, all of us at VidZone enjoy coming to work every day safe in the knowledge that what we are doing is actually being enjoyed by people all around the world." The free VidZone service enables music video streaming on the PlayStation 3 from a catalogue of around 13,000 videos. Launched across PAL region in June 2009, the VidZone Service is jointly operated with Sony Computer Entertainment and is available to download from the online PlayStation store. ![]() |
