A new survey reveals that a growing number of people are keen to make use of streaming media as part of their formal wills.
According to a poll commissioned by Remember a Charity, almost two-thirds (63 per cent) of people would like to create a video to explain their formal will and testament to relatives. Some 70 per cent of respondents said a video will would minimise the likelihood of family disputes when dividing inheritance. Just under a third (31 per cent) of people said they would also consider using a video to give their children valuable advice for the future. Stephen George, chair of Remember a Charity, said: "This research highlights a growing desire to leave personal messages for loved ones to support their legally binding wills and to explain the decisions we make to prevent conflict and arguments at such a difficult time." A recent poll conducted by Motorola found that streaming media is growing in popularity in the UK, with around half of all Brits regularly streaming online video content.
