A new survey reveals that UK users would like to switch streaming video consumption seamlessly between multiple devices.
The poll, conducted by QuickPlay Media, found that more than half (55 per cent) of respondents would be interested in services that allow them to alternate viewing of content from computers to smart phones. Around 56 per cent of web users said they have viewed content on their mobile phones - up from 48 per cent in 2009. The survey also reveals that the popularity of mobile TV and video streaming is growing in popularity, with 70 per cent of current mobile TV or video users having become adopters within the last 12 months. Wayne Purboo, president and chief executive of QuickPlay Media, said: "It is clear that the speed of mobile TV and video adoption is growing rapidly - a trend which is in line with our own results from the past year." He added that the results also show a growing trend for high-quality integrated multi-screen viewing experiences. Live Hosting www.groovygecko.com ![]() |
