German-based streaming media hosting provider Nacamar has announced the launch of a new partnership with open source online video platform Kaltura.
Under the partnership, Kaltura's streaming video management solution will be provided to broadcasters, publishers, content providers, multimedia agencies, enterprises and educational institutions across Europe. The Kaltura solution is hosted in Namacar's Frankfurt-based data centre and serves as the basis for Namacar's online video service Medianac 2.0. Uwe Schnepf, managing director of Namacar, said the European market for online streaming media solutions is growing at a very fast past and the Kaltura is best suited to meet Nacamar's needs. "[Kaltura] offers one of the world's best online video systems as open source," he said. "This complements our open system approach, that is, defined interfaces with existing content management systems as well as individual players and front-end design by multimedia partners and agencies." Nacamar and Kaltura are expected to present their new partnership at the upcoming CeBit industry event. Live Hosting http://www.groovygecko.com/ ![]() |
