A new survey reveals that many consumers would like to see internet service providers improve the streaming services they provide.
Digital entertainment and internet services provider iBAHN conducted a poll and found that 15 per cent of people would like access to streaming high-definition TV services online, while 22 per cent would like faster mobile connectivity. Respondents also said broadband service providers should make more entertainment options available and improve security. The survey revealed that almost one in five (18 per cent) of people currently watch streaming videos on their mobile phones, while 14 per cent access streaming music services on their handsets. Many consumers said they are worried that the UK's current broadband network is exceeding its capacity. Half (51 per cent) of people said they are concerned the UK's broadband limit is being reached, with 21 per cent conceding that they are "very concerned" about this issue. Over a third (38 per cent) of people believe one of the biggest challenges facing broadband networks over the next ten years will be increased data traffic levels. ![]() |
