| Streaming veteran moves to Fuze Box |

Fuze Box has confirmed the appointment of streaming industry veteran Dr Alan Lippman to the position of executive vice-president, media technology.
Dr Lippman, described by Fuze Box as one of the "fathers of streaming" audio and video technologies, will lead the company in developing new video collaboration tools. "We are excited that the timely appointment of Dr Lippman will further solidify the company's presence in the online collaboration space as Fuze Box approaches the cusp of unprecedented advances in video-based experiences," said Fuze Box CEO Jeff Cavins. The company notes that Dr Lippman will lead a team focusing on perfecting video capabilities across fixed web and mobile devices. He will also work on the optimisation of high definition video management and delivery. Dr Lippman was a founder of Trusted Media Networks in 2001. Fuze Box claims that its business communication tools are designed to be used by businesses of all sizes and that they can be integrated with other business tools. ![]() |
