An educational video content provider has launched a new streaming video service for schools, students and teachers.
Distribution Access, which is based in Canada, has unveiled AccessLearning.com, a portal that provides access to more than 3,500 full-length on-demand educational videos and 40,000 short clips, reports Mediacaster Magazine. The services is subscription-based and allows both pupils and students to search, stream and download a wide range of educational content designed to adhere to local curricula. Streaming content includes lesson plans, student activities, recommendations and web-based educational resources. Content available through the site includes SciQ and Daily Planet in the Classroom. Doug Connolly, president of Distribution Access, told Mediacaster: "This new service delivers the best and most recent video content available today with the utility educators want. "It is a 'made in Canada' service that includes award winning educational content from leading producers from around the world combined with some of the best Canadian productions available for education today." ![]() |
