Online and mobile video technology provider Kyte has been announced as a sponsor of an upcoming Journalism.co.uk industry event.
Kyte, which develops mobile video applications that allow reporters to livestream and upload video content from various locations, will showcase its technology at the news:rewired event, which takes place on June 25th. The event, which will be hosted by media partners MSN UK at Microsoft's London headquarters, is aimed at giving journalists and publishing professionals working within particular specialisms practical advice for working with digital media. Sam Jones, Kyte's director of strategy will be on hand to discuss mobile for niche publishers and will also talk about how Kyte is working with publishers on mobile video for newsgathering and distribution. "We also look forward to showing how our 360-degree video platform empowers journalists and editorial teams to revolutionise audience engagement via real time publishing," he said. Kyte recently launched a new Facebook application framework and support for Facebook social plugins. ![]() |
