Digitalsmiths has been voted the best search and indexing platform by the readers of Streaming Media magazine.
The announcement was made at a gala dinner put on by the publication in Los Angeles, California on November 8th and it is the third consecutive year the company has been recognised by the readership in this fashion. Streaming Media editor Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen commented: "More than 7,000 voters cast more than 58,000 votes, indicating just how exciting and vibrant this industry is and how passionately people feel about the products they use." Meanwhile, Elemental Technologies recently claimed it is "pushing the boundaries" for streaming media with its new parallel video processing solutions. The company is exhibiting at tradeshow Streaming Media West 2010 in Los Angeles and will be showcasing 3D streams up to 1080p for Microsoft Smooth Streaming, concurrent with delivery of 2D streams for Adobe Flash and the Apple iPad and iPod Touch. ![]() |
