Basepoint Media has announced the launch of its products in the UK to offer streaming media services to British consumers.
The move follows the company's expansion into the Swiss market with its new Air streaming media technology for Android and iPhone smartphones. Following a number of years of stunted growth due to the global economic crisis, the firm claims to now be getting back on track and is looking forward to a brighter future. Basepoint Media chief executive officer Jesper Bang-Olsen commented: "It's about creating business relevant concepts, delivery on time, at agreed prices and agreed quality." Elsewhere, Playcast Media has announced the launch of a new streaming media service that enables users to download video games direct to their PC. The high-end product line will enable consumers to download video game titles rather than having to purchase hard copies on CDs of disks and will be available for €10 (£8.49) per month. ![]() |
