Streaming media players from Roku could be some of the most sought after presents this Christmas for fans of technology, it has been claimed.
According to American Consumer News, the downturn in DVD rentals and a switch in preference to streaming media makes these products a must-have for anyone who like to keep abreast of the latest technological developments. The news provider stated: "These convenient devices connect to your television and to the internet to deliver online content - such as movies and TV shows from Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu - directly to your TV." Indeed, each model from Roku offers full Wi-Fi connectivity and features 1080p resolution and instant replay features. Elsewhere, a survey by Life Hacker recently showed that steaming media users are impressed with the services offered by PS3 Media Server.
