Warpia has unveiled its new StreamHD device that enables users to wirelessly send streaming media to TVs in the home.
Capable of 5.1 surround-sound audio and allowing users to send two streams at the same time, the device could be a must-have purchase for techies intent on sending streaming media throughout their home, Home Entertainment reports. It enables users to transfer files direct from laptops or PCs to HD TVs and is now available for $169.99 (£107.27), including a one-year warranty from Warpia. Elsewhere, Big Picture Big Sound recently reported that the new WD TV Live Media Hub from Western Digital offers streaming media support for home users. The device is able to stream a host of file types, including but not limited to MPG/MPEG, PLS, JPEG, GIF, TIF/TIFF, MP3, MP4, MOV, SSA, SMI, WPL and WAV. It is now on sale for $229 and integrates internet services with home hub connectivity. Posted by Kevin Smith ![]() |
