Streaming media services provider Roku has unveiled its latest product - 3D streaming TV.
The firm has announced it is to offer 3D channel services via the WealthTV network in order to boost the viewing experience for its subscribers, Rapid TV News reports. "With WealthTV's inaugural launch of 3D programming on Roku, we're pleased to be a recognised source for consumers looking for a new dimension in television viewing," commented Anthony Wood, founder and chief executive officer of Roku. Titles that will be streamed in 3D include 'Wonders of the World - Statue of Liberty,' 'The Enchanted Hill - Inside Hearst Castle' and 'Wheel on Wheels - The Classic Benz.' Roku also recently announced it is offering its US customers the chance to stream Al Jazeera TV. Not usually offered by streaming media providers in the US, the Qatar-based broadcaster was recently praised for its coverage of the ongoing unrest in Egypt and has therefore earned its place as a channel offering for those looking for up-to-the-minute analysis of the crisis, the company noted.
