Guardian Media Entertainment (GME) has announced a new partnership with NBCUniversal Television Group that will see the firm offering streaming video services over the coming years.
The pair are now set to work together to provide streaming video content of the Guardian Project franchise - a multimillion dollar commitment that will see cross-platform media support for the National Hockey League (NHL) in the US. "Just as we are excited to be partners with the NHL for the next ten years, we are also excited to enter into this new venture with GME that engages young fans in new, unique ways through the magic of Stan Lee," said John Miller, chief marketing officer at NBCUniversal. Meanwhile, Orb Networks recently announced the launch of a new streaming video product for PS3 users that will give them access to streaming TV and on-demand content. It is to be available for a monthly fee from the company, with Orb BR offering online television and movies courtesy of Hulu, Netflix, YouTube and other sources. Posted by Geoff Phillips ![]() |
