| Dex One expands streaming video offerings |

Marketing company Dex One Corporation has announced further expansions to its streaming video offerings.
The company has made video a standard component of its online enhanced pack service, which brings video to enhanced pack clients at no additional charge. This means that clients will be able to have video, as well as prominent advertisement placements, logos and other images on Dex One's popular local search site, DexKnows. The video content will complement rich content found on the pages such as email and website links. Sean Greene, senior vice-president of interactive at Dex One, said: "Online video advertising has become an increasingly important tool for businesses to convey their services, location and personality." He added that it is important for Dex One to be able to provide its clients with an easy and effective way to incorporate streaming video into their online campaigns. Jamie Estrin, managing director of Web TV Enterprise, the UK's largest premium online video advertising network, recently called for better streaming video metrics in order for TV advertisers to be attracted to online platforms. ![]() |
