Internet service provider Zen Internet has announced plans to roll out superfast broadband services to enable consumers to benefit from faster streaming.
The company said its fibre optic internet services will be rolled out from September and will provide homes and businesses with minimum download speeds of 15Mbps and maximum speeds of 40Mbps. It is believed that the cost of the fibre based broadband service from Zen will be around £5 more than its standard ADSL service. Zen Internet said the service and use of high quality fibre cables will allow consumers to improve the performance of Virtual Private Networks, multimedia and conferencing facilities. "We are in the process of developing these new services which use fibre optic cabling for part of the network to deliver faster broadband to homes and businesses," the company commented. Zen Internet added that it is striving to develop new cheap broadband services as part of a drive to become one of the best internet service providers in the country. ![]() |
