| TalkTalk signs broadband deal with Vodafone |

TalkTalk has signed a new deal with Vodafone to offer its customers mobile broadband services, it has emerged.
As part of the deal, TalkTalk will add contract mobile broadband and voice tariffs to its range of home broadband and phone services starting from this autumn. The company said that is will wait until next year's launch of Project Canvas - a joint scheme aimed at bringing online streaming video through internet-connected TV set-top boxes - before offering customers TV services. TalkTalk also revealed that it added 34,000 new broadband customers in the last company quarter and increased revenue from £200 million to £301 million last year after it acquired Tiscali and its entire userbase. The company added that it expects to deliver full-year results in line with its guidance six to eight per cent growth. A recent survey conducted by YouGov found Three to be the best UK network for mobile broadband. ![]() |
