Giraffic and Craze Digital have unveiled their new streaming media device that allows users to download films.
The Online Movies Box was unveiled at the recent Streaming Media West conference in Los Angeles and will enable users to download streaming media content from their peers. Yoel Zanger, founder and chief executive oficer of Giraffic, said: "Giraffic's P2P Video Accelerator will enable Craze to differentiate itself not only by the content it offers, but also by the end-user experience and future scalability." He added that the firm will now be looking to add improved definition and a wider variety of content in order to capitalise on its unique position in the market. Information Week recently reported Facebook has launched live video streaming services to its users through a partnership with Livestream. The move allows users to embed Livestream straight on to their Facebook page, enabling streaming media content to be uploaded and viewed. ![]() |
