| QuickPlay Media joins DECE |

A new deal has been announced enabling QuickPlay Media to join the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (DECE).
The streaming media content provider will join DECE's push to provide an open source streaming solution for users, Mediacaster Magazine reports. As a result, the organisations will be working together to deliver premium mobile on-demand content for an ever-expanding market that wants greater access to media than ever before. "DECE and QuickPlay Media share a common goal - to broaden the scope and reach of consumer choice by providing entertainment wherever, whenever," said Mark Teitell, general manager of DECE. "We are pleased to welcome QuickPlay to DECE." Meanwhile, Boxee recently announced an update for its Boxee Box set-top streaming device to enable users to stream online media content direct to their TVs or monitors.
