Fans of fashion may be pleased to hear that the upcoming Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York is set to be streamed live online.
Kicking off today (February 10th) and running until the 17th, streaming video of the many shows is being aired live on YouTube and is being presented by cosmetics company Maybelline. The Maybelline blog will be streaming three to four shows each day, featuring highlights from the many collections on display, as well as content from fashion editorial sources including Fashion TV, Vogue and Nylon Magazine. It will also be showing live interviews with designers and have access to many of the parties that will be taking place during the week. Elsewhere, Roku recently announced a new partnership with Qatar-based news provider Al Jazeera TV to offer live streaming video of its broadcasts to the firm's users in the US. The deal was brokered following Al Jazeera's coverage of the unrest that has been widely reported in Egypt in recent weeks. Posted by Thomas Price ![]() |
