Individuals using Apple's iPad 2 will soon be able to download streaming media content using a new app.
The program will enable consumers to stream live content in 1080p HD format and although the product is still in the process of development, initial views of the software and its capabilities look promising, Geeky Gadgets reported. An additional feature of the service will be the app's ability to send a live video signal to TVs or monitors around the home, meaning iPad 2 users can watch their downloaded content either via the device itself or on a larger screen. It is a custom accessory and is yet to be launched, but the product is currently in development and could be available soon. Fans of movies will also be able to enjoy Hollywood blockbusters live on the internet after Warner Bros and social networking site Facebook recently announced a new collaboration.
