Live streaming social network Stickam has unveiled a new service that enables brands to stream video content to online audiences. StreamAPI will be available to brands at a cost of $0.45 per gigabyte streamed and will also allow users to chat under the stream while viewing content. In addition, surfers will have the ability to change the position of chats, images, logos and streams, as well as modify colours and buttons to their own particular preference. The application has a simple and user-friendly interface, including a drag-and-drop editor which allows users to transfer content online in minimal time and with little effort. As well as supporting high definition formats, the service also provides analytics data designed to give a picture of user behaviour and viewing time. Speaking to Tech Crunch, Steven Fruchter, chief executive of Stickam, said: "We're trying to power all live video on the internet. [It] took just about a minute to have everything in place and ready to go." ![]() |
