Video hosting website Hulu has revealed plans to stream an upcoming live concert of the Dave Matthews band. The website will be streaming the band's live gig on June 1st from the Beacon Theatre in New York City in what the band called "one of the numerous elements of Hulu's first music partnership". Concert footage will also be available on-demand after the event has ended, giving web users the chances to view streams when and where they want. In the lead up to the event, Hulu will stream the band's performances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and their appearance on the Today show. Hulu currently offers streaming TV programmes and movies and is supported by commercials. The site, which is owned by News Corp, Disney and NBC Universal, also hosts content from networks such as Bravo, E! and Style. According to comScore's Video Metrix, Hulu made the top three online video sites for the first time ever in March. ![]() |
