| Video conferencing increases in popularity, survey shows |

The use of streaming media in video conferencing in on the rise, a new survey reveals.
According to a poll of over 1,200 business professionals by Research Now, an increasing number of professionals are using video chat and conferencing around the world for both corporate and personal use. More than three-quarters (79 per cent) of respondents said they typically make use of applications such as Yahoo, Gmail, AOL and Skype, while 21 per cent use video conferencing systems provided by Cisco and Polycom. The survey, which was sponsored by Global IP Solutions, found that 61 per cent of people are mostly concerned about video delay and freezing when using video chat and conference systems.
