| Blinkx launches deal with Videojug and Howdini |

Streaming media website Blinkx has launched a partnership with how-to online video publishers Videojug and Howdini.
The agreement will give Blinkx users access to more than 50,000 professionally-produced streaming videos on a wide variety of topics. Blinkx will also place contextually relevant advertising alongside the video and share the resultant advertising revenue with its partners. Suranga Chandratillake, founder and chief executive of the video site, said the agreement will allow Blinkx to expand its current offerings for its growing number of users. "Many people are turning to online video when they are learning something new or in need of expert advice," he said. "We're delighted to partner with Videojug and Howdini to expand our ever-growing index of premium, professionally produced how-to videos." Tom Laidlaw, chief executive of Videojug, added that Blinkx's innovative technology will help the firm meet the growing consumer demand for online video. Blinks has indexed more than 35 million hours of streaming audio, video, viral and TV content. ![]() |
