The WD TV Live Hub media centre offers users streaming video to download, it has been revealed.
Offering one terabyte of storage space, the hub will allow users to download streaming content online and save it to watch in the future, ubergizmo.com reports. It provides video playback via 1080p HDMI 1.4 and supports streaming media services such as Netflix, Blockbuster, Pandora and YouTube. Furthermore, the device is DLNA compliant and can therefore be connected to other media systems to transfer data. Meanwhile, Virgin Media customers might be happy to learn the firm is reportedly entering into an agreement with Spotify to provide streaming audio download services. An unnamed Virgin Media source claimed: "Virgin Media is forging new ground in music and whilst we are currently in talks with numerous parties, we want to ensure that any service provides a truly compelling offering for both consumers and the industry." ![]() |
