IT consultancy firm Systems Alliance has launched MediaExecutive, a new hosted online streaming video service.
The service is fully integrated with Systems Alliance's SiteExecutive web content management application and simplifies all aspects of online video management and delivery, from video uploads and configuration of video libraries or channels to HD video playback. MediaExecutive is a subscription-based service and allows simple point and click video uploading from any PC, Mac or video device. The service also features automated video encoding, which automatically converts videos into Flash video format and saves video content in multiple resolutions including HD. There is also a customisable player and content delivery network with service level agreements, which ensure high-quality playback. John Shin, director of product development, Systems Alliance, said the service rivals that provided by other more established applications. "While YouTube, Facebook and other ad-supported video services do a great job of simplifying content delivery, they do so at a cost to brand and content integrity," he commented. ![]() |
