Vusion has launched a unique end-to-end service that can distribute high definition video to 95 per cent of all broadband consumers
The system employs advanced WARP technology that is designed to provide cost effective and easily accessible video streaming.
Elie Habib, Vusion president and chief executive, claimed the sector will experience massive growth in the near future with some studies claiming video will soon account for 90 per cent of all online traffic.
He said: "Media companies positioned to provide the highest quality viewing experience with their video content will inevitability generate more page views and deliver better value for their advertisers."
Aaron Crayford, founder and chief technical officer, added that the technology will allow media firms to "better monetise their assets, differentiate their online presence and generate increased web traffic".
Four years of research and development were spent on creating the algorithms for the technology.
