The 2006 Internet Service Providers' Association Awards (ISPA's) turned out to be an especially groovy night for a London based streaming service. Groovy Gecko walked away with the coveted 'Best Streaming Service' award after entering the running for the first time in the company's history.
The awards ceremony was held on 23 February 2006 at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London.

An eGovernment technology successfully developed in the UK has been identified as European 'best of breed' and is to be trialled across EU member states in a major eParticipation project.
Groovy Gecko's partners Public-i have been providing webcasting systems to the public sector for the past four years. Now, as part of a successful consortium bid under the eTEN programme, the public-i package of a fully hosted webcasting service incorporating the public-i software and methodology is to form the basis of eParticipate, an 18-month European-wide validation project www.eparticipate.org.
