As part of the launch of LEGO’s new Hidden Side toys, agency Highly Unlikely asked Groovy Gecko to help with an interactive live stream with well-known gamers to invite LEGO’s target audience to take part and learn more about the new Hidden Side sets.
We worked with LEGO on many aspects of the live stream including video production, live stream management, graphics and Twitch extensions.
LEGO wanted to create an exciting live stream to their Twitch page with gaming influencers in a warehouse venue with high quality animated graphics and multiple interactive features.
What we did.
This live stream required a lot of preparation and planning from us, as we needed to implement voting and other interactive features using Twitch extensions. We also did all of the video production as well as managed the live stream on-site; The graphics in particular were a large part of the job that consisted of leader boards, voting animations and more. In total, we had a team of 16 people on-site for the 2-hour stream.
