Microsoft Surface Pro Copilot+ launch for Amazon Storefront
As part of the launch activity in Europe for its new Surface Pro Copilot+ device Microsoft wanted to create a Storefront experience for users on Amazon. This comprises a campaign/product page with live or as live video which details the unique features of the product and answers key customer questions.
BACKGROUND.
The objective was to create content for both the German and UK markets which closely matched the look and feel of existing Microsoft promotional material. The content would feature a discussion between an influencer and a Microsoft expert from each territory covering the key features of the products and answering common user questions.
our solution.
Working directly with Amazon and Microsoft we scouted locations in London as well as supplying both English and German speaker producers. Both producers helped co-develop the scripts with Microsoft and Amazon to make sure they worked effectively for Storefront.
Over the course of a single day’s shoot we then worked with all four presenters to deliver an entertaining and engaging pieces of content. Despite one of the German presenter’s flight being cancelled and them not being able to make the shoot our experienced team were able to adapt on the fly to include remotely filmed elements from the second presenter which were captured at a later date.
Groovy Gecko oversaw some script development, location scouting, all production and editing as well as photography of the shoot to capture additional elements for the campaign.
RESULTS.
The campaign pages attracted millions of visitors with hundreds of thousands of those visitors being completely new to the Microsoft store. This translated into thousands of units being sold
