Top Gun 2: Red Carpet Premiere Live Stream to TikTok

Content Creator Studios came to us with a need... a need for speed... and to live stream the Top Gun 2 red carpet premiere. This exciting brief for the royal premiere at Leicester square was to live stream the much anticipated Top Gun 2: Maverick premiere to Paramount Pictures' TikTok channel.

The stream received over 100,000 live views with thousands of comments and reactions sent in throughout.

Objectives.

Paramount Pictures wanted to bring the red carpet to thousands of viewers at home through TikTok Live, a platform that offers exclusive live content that is only available as it streams.

What we did.

We handled the technical back-end of this live stream to Paramount's TikTok channel, with encoders on-site to take the feed as well as a LiveU to provide a backup feed in case the on-site internet failed at any point. We liaised with TikTok to make sure they were receiving the feed at the correct 9x16 size for mobile, and there were no technical difficulties.

The results of this live stream were really positive, with over 100,000 live views and thousands of comments and interactions on TikTok. Paramount Pictures and Content Creators Studio were both pleased with the results and technical delivery of the stream.
