Groovy Gecko was approached by agency Sassy to live stream the Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker Premiere to the Vodafone Business Linkedin page.
This event was one of the first in the UK to be live streamed to Linkedin and we were thrilled to have been a part of it, especially for such an iconic film premiere. Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker is the third and final instalment of the trilogy, and grossed over 1 billion USD worldwide, making it the 7th highest grossing film in 2019 and 32nd highest of all time.
What we did.
Based in London, we managed the live stream of this event locally with v-mix video feeds to Linkedin and Facebook and ensured there were no technical issues with the streams. The live stream had great results, including over 100,000 total views.
