#WorldChildrensDay with David Beckham

Unicef came to Groovy Gecko with an exciting project – to live stream their interactive #WorldChildrensDay event with David Beckham and Emma Willis!

It was a #KidsTakeover! The audience submitted their questions in the comments section and Beckham answered them throughout the live stream. There were various Picture in Picture scenes showing children around the world asking David their burning questions.

Objectives.

Facebook needed production and live stream management for an event at their headquarters with the charity, Unicef and guest David Beckham.

What we did.

We produced the event with a multi camera shoot and managed the live stream of video and audio feeds, on-screen graphics and the live questions coming in. We created the run of show for the event and project managed the talent including host Emma Willis.

the results.

The results of this live stream were incredible, with over 2 million views and 28,300 reactions and comments on the video.
